Contact
How to reach us
A real address, a real telephone number and addresses that are read by a person. If you write, you get an answer.
This is not an emergency contact. Nothing here should delay an evacuation order, or delay an instruction from the services responding where you live. We are not an emergency service, a fire or police department, a civil protection authority, an insurer, a medical provider or a licensed adviser, we are not monitored outside working hours, and we cannot help with an incident that is happening now. Call your local emergency number.

What we can and cannot answer
We are glad to answer questions about something we have published, to take a correction, to deal with a privacy request, and to discuss permission to reuse our text.
We cannot advise on your home, your health, your insurance claim or your legal position. We are not qualified to, and an answer from us would be worth less than an answer from the authority, insurer or professional responsible for your case. The Disclaimer explains where that line sits.
Corrections, and what helps
A correction is most useful with three things: the page, the sentence, and what you believe the position to be. If there is a published source — an agency page, a manufacturer's documentation, a regulation — a link to it means we can act the same day instead of researching from scratch.
Response times
We read everything that arrives and answer as quickly as we reasonably can. Requests under data protection law are answered within the period the applicable law requires; see the Privacy Policy.
